To anyone who is going to Kinetik Festival in Montreal this week:

There's a huge load of us all wearing our Sanctuary shirts and hoodies on Day 2 to the festival to represent the Van-Skanks crew (and hopefully get a group photo at the event as well!) Anyone who is coming, if you wanna help represent our local scene, please please pack your Skank gear and make sure to sport it on Day 2 of Kinetik!

I'm stoked to see icon of coil! I missed their last show ever, which was in Göteborg some years ago. I never thought I'd get a chance to see them again!

Project Pitchfork plays instead of Skinny Puppy on the opening night.
Seems to have been some kind of weird story leading up to the cancellation of Skinny. Apparently Headscan and Undernull have cancelled too just last week.

* update - the full lineups for two more days have been released, and, this just in, JESUS CHRIST! THEY'VE ADDED SKINNY PUPPY TO THE BILL, AS IF IT WASN'T STACKED ENOUGH ALREADY!

For those who don't know, Kinetik was THE electro / industrial festival last year in North America, rivalling many of the festivals in Europe!! It returns this May, and a TON of people from Vancouver are trekking over from Vancouver to Montreal for the weekend....
