He's been active in the alternative & music scene in general in Vancouver forEVAH and is a long, long, long time supporter of Sanctuary and we are ultra stoked to have him in ripping it up with us tonight! SANCTUARY TONIGHT AT CELEBRITIES SUNDAY OCTOBER 15 GUEST DJ P. DEADY W/ DJ PANDEMONIUM 9 PM- 2 AM $3 / free before 10 PM All the best alternative / electro / ebm / industrial / 80's / new wave / electronica you can handle! But who the heck is P. Deady and where do I know him from? Yep, that nagging feeling you've seen the bastard before is right on the money. Who is he? He's a man whose principal interests include; cleanliness, time travel, electric love, disdain for authority, and who brings a host of musical styles and personal neurosies with him wherever he goes! P.DEADY (aka: SOOLAH) began his music career as a drummer/programmer in metal, punk and experimental bands. Many people remember him from his years behind the bar at DV8, where he also hosted the XLR and GROOP THERAPY Wednesday nights, from 1999 to 2002. After that, he was responsible for A/V LODGE, which ran from 2002 to 2004 at (the) SUGAR REFINERY. Setting his sights on clubland he was then host and resident for the VOID & TRANSMIT clubnights at ATLANTIS, LICK, and THE ARCH in 2004/2005. (do I dare mention his third alias, DR. EGO, who was [ir]responsible for the FAT LIP metal & glam nights at the ARCH in 2005?!) This past year P.DEADY has been resident @ THE CHARMING which has mutated into MAJOR!YES MAJOR!!, now at THE MARINE CLUB on FRIDAYS.
