The Rock & Roll Glam Bash on Saturday at Sanctuary was a SMASH! So many amazing outfits, frenzied moments on the dancefloor, and good times galore! The night ended perfectly on a double shot of Walk On The Wild Side & Venus In Furs and left a ton of people glowing and champing at the bit for the next Sanctuary party on July 19th. Also a note, since a load of people have been asking, yes you can still get no-service-charge tickets tonight at the Sanctuary coat check for the Sin City 7
Year party next Saturday, but there are an EXTREMELY small amount of advance tickets left from us directly before we run out. I'm talking like 5 here!
After that, it's take your chances at the advance ticket locations and online!!

Regretfully, we have to postpone the Vampire Ball originally scheduled for this Saturday at Sanctuary at Club 23 West until a later date!
Quite a few key people who were going to be involved are away at an out-of-town event and we really want to make it as big as it should be. So, you'll see it coming up in a short while in the future! Meanwhile, the weekend looms large with another awesome Sanctuary party in the making .... full details coming out imminently, but here's the gist of it! SANCTUARY SATURDAY AUGUST 2 / CLUB 23 WEST 2 ROOMS OF DJs & DANCING - 9PM - 3AM / two for one entry all night with cab receipt - free before 10 / free for students before 11 / $5 dressed up / $6 not Main Room : Graveyard concoction of monster mashups! Ahhh. Vancouver, how we love you, and all the things we can depend on, like wearing a coat to go out in August. Did we even get a summer? Luckily another
thing you can count on is Sanctuary Saturdays when you're looking for a weekend dancefloor freakfest with delicious alternative flava. Still a
ridiculously low weekend cover at five measly bucks, you just ain't gonna find another party like it.

Thanks again Isaac for playing the Amon Tobin and the Konichiwa song. The tempo on the Konichiwa thing is so crazy, it's really hard to dance to and
I'm sure I'll never hear it played again at a club for that reason, but it was pretty cool to hear it the once!
The music in general last night was soooo good. Kind of odd to see the dance floor packed and only a handful of people still sitting in the upper level most of the time. A sign of awesomeness, to be sure. |
