Just a quick reminder that though there was the one-off LEGENDARY Sanctuary Long Weekend party last Sunday at Celebrities, it's Sanctuary again tonight
October 18 at Club 23 West and again next Saturday October 25, since Sin City, normally on that Saturday, is pushed one week to have the Halloween party
actually land on the Halloween weekend. Sanctuary Halloween is also that Sunday November 2 once again at Celebrities. All these parties look to be severely
high-energy, judging by how geared up everybody is!!
This is almost like the good ol' days when Sanctuary was a weekly! But, after the madness that is October, Sanctuary returns to being regularly on the 1st / 3rd / 5th Saturday of every month. Tonight, DJ Contrasoma will be joining me at Skank, filling in for DJ Vortex who sadly can't make it, and as usual we'll be delivering that signature mix of dancefloor destroyers in the 80's / NEW WAVE / ELECTRO INDUSTRIAL / SYNTH / ROCK vein. In particular expect a good dose of fun as hell 80's, new wave & synthpop tonight, in honour of several birthday boys and girls' requests!

Well, I thought I'd send out yet ANOTHER update on the scheduling of Sin City & Sanctuary Saturdays for the next few weeks, since, quite a few people
have been asking, though this info is always readily available on all the event listings, websites and promo in general.
The last Sin City of this month, normally on the 4th Saturday, has been pushed one week so as to have the huge Fetish Halloween party actually fall on the Saturday of the Halloween weekend. Thus, no Sin City on October 25. Instead, it's Sin City's sister night, Sanctuary at Club 23 West! Sin City Halloween is Saturday November 1 at Richards On Richards, Sanctuary Halloween is Sunday November 2 at Celebrities. The weekend after Halloween, Saturday November 8, is DECADENCE, the 10 Year Anniversary of the amazing Gothic BC photo site, presented in partnership by Gothic BC, Sin City and Sanctuary. This replaces the Sin City party that would normally be on the 8th, which is the second Saturday of the month, but that's OK, since Sin again just a week after Sin Halloween is a bit much, eh! After that, scheduling returns to normal for both Sin City & Sanctuary, with Sin's Military Party and Sanctuary's White Party looming large for the end of November!! The short list : - Saturday October 25 : Sanctuary at Club 23 West - Saturday November 1 : Sin City Halloween at Richards On Richards - Sunday November 2 : Sanctuary Halloween at Celebrities - Saturday November 8 : Gothic BC Decadence Ball at Club 23 West - Saturday November 15 : Sanctuary - Saturday November 22 : Sin City Military Theme Ball - Sanctuary November 29 : Sanctuary White Party

Humm, probably obvious to everyone be me but where can I find the afore mentioned Halloween video (if it indeed has been posted) Was in BC 2 years ago and wanted to take in the madness at the Lotus but was not able to make it. Would be interesting to see what the inside of the place looks like and of course Goths & Rivets done out for Halloween....sweet! |
