Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	So, this Saturday at Sin City, we got all yer regular insane crazy fetishy fun --- leading the dancefloor in the main room we got the demolition duo of yers truly DJ Pandemonium of Sin City & Sanctuary (NOW AT FRIDAYS AT THE LOTUS!) and Betti Forde of Stacked Tuesdays at Celebrities and local shock hip hop 80's funk rock band Stink Mitt, tearing up the notorious Sin dancefloor with that signature booty blend of electro / new wave / industrial / synth / sex / rock. And that's just the main room! There's been some renos and changes at Sin City's host venue! There is now a permanent dungeon space loaded with play gear adjacent to the lounge area near our fetish ware vendors, and if that wasn't exciting enough on its own, starting this Saturday we ALSO are debuting a brand new : SECOND FLOOR OF DANCING & DJS! The downstairs room, which previously hosted the dungeon, is now a second dance area, with it's own bar, bathrooms and sound system. This week we debut the room with none other than DJs Exodus and Mr. Innis! Who are these guys? Well ... DJ Exodus AKA Craig Wanless: Native to the west coast of British Columbia Craig, Craig AKA Exodus attended his first party at the impressionable age of 13 in Victoria, Vancouver Island. Years of seeing this new culture emerge pushed him towards a more important role within events. By the time he moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 1997 Craig was spinning breakbeat with techno and funky house at small underground warehouse parties. By 1998-99, he was part of a collective of local Edmonton DJ's who took the Edmonton underground scene to a new level by helping to open and managing Edmonton's largest's after hours club: Evar-After. His performances are well known across the west coast. Always bringing an intense, driving personality to the turntables, Craig always brings events to their peak. With a diverse range and vast material, pushing the dancefloor is his prime directive. In the past nine years with his past residency at Evar-After in Edmonton and his current Bi-monthly in Vancouver with www.ph1.ca and Vivid:Sessions and with the help of the Sugar Beat Technologists and the E-town Crew, Craig Alan's style has soared in popularity. He has played parties along side such international talents as Perry Farrell, Peter Hook of New Order, Mauro Picotto, Marco Carola, Rachel Auburn(UK), Chris Liberator(UK), DJ Speedy(Las Vegas), Tim Tom(UK), Deejay E(Germany), Mark EG(UK), Daniel(USA), Commander Tom(UK), DJ Nitro(USA), Madame Zu(UK), Ezra(USA), Richard Mears(UK), Kenneth Graham(USA), Jon the Dentist(UK) and DJ Trevor(USA), just to name a few! Mr. Innis AKA Innis McCourty: Ever since his first time laying hand to vinyl over 12 years ago his passion for electronic music has been insatiable. Striving to maintain artistic integrity while keeping the floor on fire are his two main goals. Since moving to Vancouver he's been a guest at numerous clubs and events such as Sonar, The Lotus, Gorg-o-mish, Alexander 7, The Side Door, the infamous Summer Love parties and other gigs around BC and Alberta, and is no stranger to partying hard with fellow kinksters at Sin City. -------------------------------------------------------- Together these boys are gonna be breaking in the debut night for Sin's second room with a blend of house / techo / electro. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND FAREWELL TO DJ CATHERINNA! Cat is one of Sin Citys longest standing and best loved resident DJs, having made the trek up from her home town of Seattle month after month for over four years to play with us. Not only is the September 8 party her birthday, but also her last before she retires from active DJ duty to start making little Catherinnas! Make sure to rip it up extra hard, wish her well and send her off with a huge dose of Sin love! UNOFFICIAL VINTAGE / ROMANTIC GOTH THEME!
