Tonight as always is hosted by Thee Mr. Dark, plus DJs Pyxis and Craig Allan gonna be tearing it up in the hot new second room at Sin - Debasement in the downstairs room, dirty electro & house all night. Plus, joining me and DJ Betti Forde amidst the usual insanity and shenanigans in the main room and dancefloor is special guest Jimi LaMort from Malhavoc! Dubbed by many as the "early Ministry" before the industrial genre was defined circa 1985, Malhavoc's dark themed performance included now legendary stage antics of nude performance, body mutilation (scarification), punishment and persona characterization (MC J.C.). Band leader James C. has gone beyond his band's realm and on to collaborate on projects with Mtley Cre, Monster Magnet, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (Jakalope), Tool, Carole Pope (Rough Trade), Vovod, Ariel and DJ gigs. Whenever the Taboo Sex Show falls on the same weekend as a Sin City party, Sin is always MASSIVE. As well, tonight we have a fashion TV show coming to film a segment on Sin City! They have flown in to Vancouver specifically to film the party! Information about the show filming tonight : Produced by FRONT TV, it is a new International TV series, called CLUB FASHION a show that travels around the world featuring the hottest fashions inside the coolest clubs. They have recently just shot episodes in Istanbul, Dubai, New York, Montreal, Miami, London, Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and many more cities. In Canada alone the show is seen by 1.8 million viewers through BPM TV, Canadas dance music video cable channel. There will be a small crew there of the show's host, cameraman and an attendant, and will be taking care not to disrupt the clients and existing atmosphere, and are aware of the nature of the party and will be very respectful to all our loyal Sin City patrons. Anyone who does not want to appear on television will not be included. They have covered the FETISH party in Toronto with Northbound Leather before, and are very sensitive with the privacy of those who do not wish to be featured. Additionally, any footage will be reviewed and is subject to veto by either myself or Mr. Dark prior to getting released publically. However, I know we have a ton of exhibitionists who will want to not only represent Sin City but show themselves off, and I highly encourage people to camp it up for the camera and get themselves some screen time on the segment they are filming on Sin! At Sanctuary she'll be joining a jam-packed roster of me (DJ Pandemonium), Vortex & R-Lex for the night, so expect a mad vibe of antics in and out of the DJ booth all night, with power sets of alternative / 80's / 90's / synth / rock / electro / goth / industrial / EBM all night! On top of that it's my birthday, as if things weren't gonna be crazy enough already. At Sin City Fetish Night, Saturday at Club 23 West, she'll be co-hosting the main room with me as our very special guest for the first time since retiring from regular duty last year, and we couldn't be more overjoyed to have her back for a night!
